Smith Hartvigsen is a law firm comprised of six attorneys with over 60 years combined experience representing Our Clients, both small and large, before administrative agencies and courts of law in the western United States.   We also take an active part in contributing back to Our Community.  We at Smith Hartvigsen are dedicated to finding the best resolution for our clients’ legal issues. 
 

Smith Hartvigsen was formed in 2002 when its members J. Craig Smith, David B. Hartvigsen, Scott M. Ellsworth, and D. Scott Crook left the Salt Lake City law firm of Nielsen & Senior to pursue their vision of a practice that would not only be responsive to its clients but also be progressive enough to excel in today's quickly evolving legal environment.  Benjamin T. Wilson joined them shortly thereafter as a member after having created and successfully operated his own consulting business, Xcera Consulting.
